Bachledka Ski & Sun, a popular family ski resort in Slovakia, has further expanded its ropeway infrastructure with the new 6-seater chairlift “Franková”. The system replaces an aging existing ropeway and markedly improves access to the skiing area. Traveling at a speed of 5 m/s, the chairlift transports up to 2,950 passengers per hour along the 1,100-meter route. The state-of-the-art solution is equipped with bubbles and individual footrests and powered by energy-efficient LEITNER DirectDrive motorization. As part of the construction works, 9 new cabins were added to the 10 passenger gondola lift “Bachledka” built by LEITNER in 2018 with a view to further increasing capacity and optimizing comfort levels for passengers.
