LEITNER ropeways are setting new trends in many regions of Europe

LEITNER builds modern ropeway facilities in several European countries that combine comfort, performance, and technical innovation. From the Nordic countries to southern Europe, new solutions are being implemented that improve skiing areas all year round and take the experience for visitors to a whole new level.

Projects in Northern Europe

LEITNER is further expanding its presence in the Nordic countries, with new installations in Norway, Finland, and Sweden.

Trysil (Norway)

The 10-seater Trysilgondolen gondola lift is the first facility in Scandinavia with LeitPilot, and offers a high level of ride comfort and energy-efficient operation thanks to LEITNER DirectDrive. In addition to its impressive capacity of up to 4,000 people per hour, the 20 event cabins with lighting and tables make the facility a special highlight.

Iso Syöte (Finland)

The 6-seater Iso-Syöte Express chairlift significantly improves access to central piste areas and also offers additional benefits in summer thanks to its integrated bike transport solution.

Åre (Sweden)

Another surface lift has been built for SkiStar: the Getvalsliften has a compact design that’s ideal for the local terrain.
