The new inclined elevator between Trento and the Mesiano university campus is entering the final stage of the project. The glazed panoramic cabin is already positioned alongside the line, and the initial performance tests have been successfully carried out. LEITNER, the Alto Adige-based ropeway manufacturer, is implementing this new urban mobility solution in collaboration with Misconel, a construction and infrastructure company based in Trentino; in the future, the facility will comfortably transport up to 50 people from the valley floor to the university campus in just 86 seconds.
