Alpine Crossing from Switzerland to Italy

The vision of an Alpine Crossing - the connection between Zermatt and Cervinia via ropeway - is becoming reality. LEITNER ropeways is going to built the second 3S gondola lift in Zermatt. The Zermatt Bergbahnen and the Swiss Foundation for Landscape Conservation  signed an accord taking appropriate account of the interests of both parties.
