CD6C STEINERMANDL

The new 6-seater chairlift “Steinermandl” is at the heart of a modernization project at the Gitschberg Jochtal skiing area. The highcapacity ropeway, which replaces an old 4-seater chairlift, cuts travel time to the summit at over 2,100 meters in half, giving skiers and snowboarders a quicker and more convenient link to the slopes. With its bubbles, individual footrests, premium upholstery, and seat heating, the new system offers visitors unrivaled comfort. Not only that, the Pininfarina station cladding is both functional and eye-catching. The CD6 “Steinermandl” is the first chairlift in Italy to be equipped with LEITNER’s LeitPilot technology. The AI-supported system helps to automatically monitor and control the loading and unloading area and is currently being tested as an auxiliary system, alongside manual station operation.
