In Font Romeu, located in the picture-postcard French arrondissement of Prades, 2024 was all about renewal, improving comfort, and expanding capacity. The decision to build a new fixed-grip 4-seater chairlift represented an important step toward modernizing the ropeway infrastructure at the skiing area. KidStop technology makes the ropeway safer for younger visitors, while optimum capacity of up to 2,000 passengers per hour provides a more efficient link to the top station. Skiers and snowboarders can now enjoy a smooth and comfortable ride along the 636-meter route – another significant upgrade for a skiing area that is steeped in tradition.
