CD6 HOMME DE PIERRE

In 2022, LEITNER constructed two modern 6-seater chairlifts on the Vars side of the La Forêt Blanche skiing area. Two years later, LEITNER completed its third installation at the resort with the CD6 “Homme de Pierre”, this time on the Risoul side. The ropeway replaces two existing installations – the 3-seater chairlift “Césier” and the “Homme de Pierre” surface lift – and represents a marked improvement to the resort’s ropeway infrastructure. With a capacity of up to 2,400 passengers per hour, the new chairlift offers a quicker and more convenient link to the top station at 2,376 meters above sea level. Features such as individual footrests and LEITNER bike racks make it the ideal solution for both winter and summer operation.
