CD6C Trattenbach

The new CD6C “Trattenbach” 6-seater chairlift in Kitzbühel delivers sustainability and the very latest technology. This modern ropeway, equipped with the latest LEITNER technology, replaces an aging 3-seater chairlift. The route is slightly different from that of the old line, but it needs just eight towers instead of thirteen. As well as LEITNER DirectDrive, it incorporates LEITNER EcoDrive, an automated, adaptive speed control system that saves up to 20% in energy, as well as an Intelligent Heat Detector (IHD). The station canopy’s features include a photovoltaic system, in which the LEITNER Premium Station’s polycarbonate panes are replaced with curved panels incorporating PV elements. Designed by Pininfarina, this station is optimized to generate energy throughout the whole winter.
